NSDO hired one STE to conduct the technical training for cold storage drivers in Kunduz province. NSDO identified the traders and drivers of cold storage through cooperation of value chain partners and Kunduz Directorate of Agriculture Irrigation and livestock. At the initial stage, NSDO conducted a pre-assessment to find their gaps and challenges for driving the cold storage in Kunduz province then in response to the gaps, the STE developed educational materials to cover the technically and management of the storages. NSDO called out 10 traders and operators of cold storages from Kunduz center and Imam Sahib Districts of Kunduz province. NSDO held 2 days training to enhance their knowledge on cold storage environment and management during February 2020.
