Corruption Perception Index ranks Afghanistan 173 out of 180 countries.
Peace Building:
Afghanistan falls at the least peaceful country in the world on Global Peace Index 2020.
Women Rights:
Afghanistan is still the most dangerous place for women in the world.
Education & Life Skills:
An estimated 3.7 million children are out-ofschool in Afghanistan – 60% of them are girls.
Clean Water & Hygiene:
Only 63 percent of Afghans have access to basic drinking water, and only 39 percent have access to basic sanitation.
Food Security/Nutrition:
Over 11 million population of Afghanistan is suffering from food insecurity and malnutrition.
Enterprise Development:
More than half of Afghanistan’s 30 million people live below the poverty line.
Life Saving & Resilience:
The low level of socio-economic development makes Afghanistan extremely vulnerable to disasters.
Climate Change:
Afghanistan is among the highest countries suffering from the impacts of climate change.
