Activity Description:

Five-day training was held for 17 religious leaders regarding family well-being on 31 October 2022 in Kunduz city, this session was organized under the support of the agricultural and development enterprises with the aim of economic empowerment of families).

The main objective of this training was to enhance women’s and men’s rights in the perspective of Islam and to start small businesses by families, and after the end of this training, the respected religious leader would communicate the basic issues at their villages levels and neighborhoods to the residents through the pulpits of the Masjids.

This program’s objective is to empower families economically for a period of four years and is funded by the European Union Commission and implemented by New Way Social and Development Organization (NSDO) in three divisions of the value chain (saffron, vegetables, and livestock) in Kunduz province. This training started on Monday, October 31, 2022, and ended successfully on Sunday, November 6 this year.
